Kew College was founded over fifty years ago, by Mrs Hamilton-Spry. We still celebrate this at our Founder’s Day every year. The school became a charitable trust in 1983. It still occupies the same site as it did all those years ago, but the purchase of new space and buildings has meant it is a great deal bigger now!

Kew College is an independent preparatory school situated in Kew, Surrey. Our teaching style blends tradition and creativity, giving our students a strong foundation in the basics of numeracy and literacy, whist providing a wide range of opportunities and experiences in The Arts, Sport and Technology. Kew College is a family-orientated, non-selective, independent school for boys and girls aged from 3 to 11.

Kew College offers traditional teaching with a creative flair and pride themselves on a lively and dynamic environment.

Kew College has just opened a superb new building, which sports a green, living roof and houses brand new ICT and Science rooms, as well as an expanded library and performance space.

The Nursery and Kindergarten curriculum works in conjunction with the Department of Education’s Early Learning goals, and they are well prepared to enter Year One at the age of five.
