Activities at the Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel & Resort Craiganour Field Sports centre is a hidden jewel, waiting to be discovered. A supreme hillside location above Loch Rannoch, designed for enthusiasts and beginners alike to participate in the wealth of activities on offer. The centre offers Quad Biking, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Off-road Driving and 4x4 Highland Safari. In addition to this raft of sporting opportunities there is the potential to organise trout and salmon fishing locally and, in season, deer stalking. Loch Rannoch Watersports is accredited by the Royal Yachting Association and Scottish Canoe Association. We offer certificated courses and boat hires, in a range of sailing and canoeing disciplines. In addition to this there is the opportunity to hire motor boats and just potter around the loch enjoying the scenery. Climbing/Abseiling, Gorge Walking and White Water Rafting are all available off-site, within easy reach of the hotel. Both centres are available for activities throughout the year. Prior booking is required outside the main holiday seasons of April to October and the Christmas period. Groups or individuals can be catered for, whichever activities you choose, and wherever possible an activity package can be created to your specific requirements.
