Alexandra Park is a large landscaped park in the London Borough of Haringey in Greater London. It is on a hill , adjacent to Muswell Hill and north of Crouch End, a short distance from Wood Green Underground Station. It is dominated by Alexandra Palace.
From Alexandra Palace, at the top of this steeply sloping park, there are panoramic views over London. Alexandra Park has its own nature reserve. Parkland Walk is picturesque walk along a disused railway. Alexandra Park also boasts a boating lake and children's play area. At more than 200 acres, Alexandra Park is a welcome break from the city and offers spectacular views Alexandra park is a nice place just to go for a walk. It's not overcrowded, and the view from Alexandra palace is the best. There is also a nice pond where people can watch the ducks or go on a little boat. And there are dear that live in the park too. The so-called "Ally Pally", a great Victorian glass-house, also rooms an entertainment and exhibition centre with an indoor ice rink. |
