Each room elegantly, individually designed, the service impeccable, the price considerably less than most nearby hotels, and if much accommodation these days appears bland and impersonal, Searcy's will come as a pleasant surprise. Local Attractions Harrods (0 km) - Knightsbridge is the most fashionable area and retains its air of sophistication through fabulous designer Searcy's is well placed to enjoy.Only 150 yards from the front door is Harrods - surely the world's most famous store. Museums (0 km) - If you like culture then a short walk takes you to Science Museum with displays and interactive sections, the Natural History Museum and, best of all, is the Victoria and Albert Museum where you can view the best in style from around the world. Guards (0 km) - Searcy's is extremely close to the Hyde Park, and if you walk the short distance from the hotel you have a good chance of seeing the Household Cavalry leaving to change the guard at Buckingham Palace. The hotel is 150m on the right. Upon arrival at 30 Pavilion Road please come to the back door marked 'Searcy's Roof Garden Rooms' (on the corner of Rysbrack Street). This entrance conceals the lift which will take you to the Office/Reception. To the right of the door there is a white button marked 'call lift'. When pressed it will light and the lift will descend to the ground floor. To check that it has arrived look through the spy hole. To gain entrance press the brass button marked 'Reception'. This is an intercom system and we will then open the door, please come to the third floor to register and to be shown to your room. |
