There are 43 large double bedrooms with superb bathrooms. Six of these have a large sofa bed for family use, there are also specially adapted rooms for our disabled guests. The entire hotel and restaurant complex was totally refurbished during 2000, with the addition of a new custom built bedroom building of 30 rooms, which is located to the rear of the premises. Teddington is home to Teddington Studios (a digital widescreen television studio complex and one of the former homes of Thames Television), the National Physical Laboratory (the United Kingdom's national standards laboratory, where the first accurate atomic clock was built and bouncing bomb designs tested during WWII), Teddington Rugby Football Club, Teddington Hockey Club (which claims to be the oldest hockey club in Britain) and Lensbury the sports and social club of Royal Dutch Shell. Lensbury is now run as a private members club and the sports teams previously associated with it have become independant, they are Lockside Rugby Club (http://www.locksiderugby.com) and Weirside AFC, these clubs still play at the Broom Road site but now have a clubhouse overlooking Teddington Lock. Go around roundabout and leave at the 4th exit just afterr A.T.s (signed the Hampton's) - Sainburys should now be on your right. Continue through the traffic lights at Sainburys and at 1/2 miles turn left (signed Teddington)at the mini roundabout. Come to Hampton hill and go straight through the traffic lights. Tesco should be on your right. At traffic lighs at Barclays Bank, turn right. In 100 yards the park will be opposite to you. From Central London, the north or south circulars follow tha a4 & the a316 signed Richmond. Follow the a316 arround Richmond signed a316 (m3) South West until you reach the exit for the a312 signposted Kingston. Leave the a316 onto the roundabout taking the second exit from the roundabout onto the a312 signposted the Hamptons - Sainsburys will be on your right continue as above.
